Episode #19 Baby Steps – Stay Under the Radar

I’ll tell you the truth. Baby Steps every day is the fastest and only way to success.  Put the power of compounding to work for you. Listen to this episode to learn more about the benefits of ‘staying under the radar’. At the risk of sounding cliche, there is one primary reason you haven’t achieved your goals, dreams, and aspirations that’s because you haven’t broken the steps down into small enough pieces to get by your minds “change the rejection radar”!

There is a vital mechanism that doesn’t allow any change to the status quo. It protects you from making drastic changes based on only speech, or any outside event. The challenge becomes when you DO want to make a change, that IS for your benefit.

Baby steps will help you keep your changes under the radar and they won’t be detected by your mind, this way you can create your desired changes without being rejected at a subconscious level.

#15 TheLakewoodScoop.com Series: Know what you desire vs. What you don’t

Know what you desire vs. What you don’t

Know what you desire. This video uses the analogy of a taxi. Knowing where you don’t want to go is useless information to help help the driver get you to your destination. The only way he can be helpful is if you tell him where you do want to go. This is extremely important in achieving the life you desire and deserve.

Negative thoughts can throw you off track

Negative thoughts can throw you off track. An analogy of a bus driver distracted by every passenger that rides the bus explains this well. It makes it impossible for him or her to concentrate and stay focused on arriving at the destination safely. The 100 thousand thoughts that travel through our mind distract us from everyday life. Similar to bus driver and  passengers that ride the bus. You lose focus and not arrive at your destination, the life you desire and deserve! A life free of anxiety, fear, panic and stress.

#17 “Live Your Deserved Life” Series: Getting Emotionally Stuck

 #17: Getting Emotionally Stuck

This video uses an analogy of Chinese finger lock to explain why we get emotionally stuck. And more importantly what we can do to avoid getting emotionally stuck. We need to have emotions run freely and managed effectively in order to achieve the life we desire and deserve.

#16 “Live Your Deserved Life” Series: Don’t run out of the kitchen

Just like there is a tendency to run out of the of the kitchen when it gets to hot. There is a similar response when we feel out emotions getting to strong. We need to learn an effective strategy to deal with heat and not run away from emotions. Since the life we desire and deserve will most likely require us to deal with some strong emotions.

#15 “Live Your Deserved Life” Series: Perception is reality – what is a cognitive distortion?

“Perception is reality” – I’m sure you’ve heard this said. It is an important concept for you to understand in order to manage your emotions effectively. Just like there is a concept of visual distortion, the analogy I have supplied in today’s video message clearly depicts how a pair of sunglasses can distort our vision and therefore, our perception of reality. Similarly, there are “cognitive distortions” that distort our emotional experience of reality.

Understanding this a vital part of living the life you desire and deserve!

There are two realities in our life that seem to be opposites, however they coexist in our lives at all times and we need to learn to get comfortable with it.
